One Piece Unlimited World: Red will see a retail release on the PlayStation Vita in America, Namco Bandai announced this morning. Originally, both the Vita and Wii U versions of the game were planned for a digital-only release in American territories.

Retail copies of the Vita version of One Piece Unlimited World: Red will be available through GameStop and EB Games Canada. The game will also be available at retail on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 3 at retailers. Meanwhile, the Wii U version is still digital-only.

Additionally, Namco Bandai have announced Coliseum Mode, which will feature pirates fighting one another to earn top rankings. Namco say the mode will “resemble the latest episodes of One Piece”. Trafalgar Law will be playable in this mode.

Law will also team up with Luffy against Donquixote Doflamingo. One Piece Unlimited World: Red is slated for release in 2014 in the West.
