Like the closed beta that ran back in January, playing the open beta will require a Capcom ID and playable console/device. Additionally, users that participated in the closed beta will be able to play the open beta without having to re-download. The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. You can check out the full details on the official open beta announcement page.

The Resident Evil portal site has also been revamped to commemorate the series’ 25th anniversary, adding a new background selection feature to customize the website. The “News” page has also been replaced with a 25th anniversary page, with a new banner advertising Re:Verse. In addition, a new 25th anniversary fan campaign called REMIND will be running on twitter from March 22, 2021, to May 10, 2021. Submissions featuring memorable illustrations, photographs, and cosplay pictures using the hashtag “#REBH25th” will be selected and showcased on the Resident Evil portal page.
