Most survival-horror games are set in the modern day or during some sort of zombie apocalypse. PAMELA is doing something a little different by mixing survival-horror with a futuristic dystopia. There are plenty of games that do one or the other, but putting the two together looks to make for an interesting affair, judging by the game’s first trailer.

PAMELA takes place in a large city named Eden. The city is home to a sentient AI known as Pamela, who used to watch over it. Since the citizens of Eden have been zombified (or something along those lines anyway), Pamela will act as your guide throughout the game. Pamela aside, developer NVYVE Studios are maintaining the futuristic theme by incorporating the game’s UI into a Holopad that acts as your in-game menu.

PAMELA is in development for PC. The game is being built using Unity and is currently in a pre-alpha state. You can learn more about it at its official website.
