Atlus have shared two more videos of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, one showing off Ken and Koromaru—who are new to this game—and one showing off the game’s “Golden Arena Mode”. Let’s take a look at that first.

Golden Arena Mode adds RPG elements to Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. The mode lets you pick a character, and fight through stages while you level up along the way. As you go along, you’ll gain new skills and acquire skill points that you can use for upgrades.

Golden Arena Mode will feature four courses and after you beat a certain number of stages, you’ll face a boss. Defeating bosses will give you rare skills. There are over 150 skills in total to be learnt.

And now, onto Ken/Koromaru. As reported in the past, these two function as a single character, and you read up on details of their battle style in this report.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be available in North America this Fall.
