Phantasy Star Online 2 Broadcast

Sega scheduled a new Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis broadcast for April 22, 2021. New information on characters, story, and character creation will be featured in the event. Notably, this broadcast will also reveal information about the release schedule for New Genesis.

Similar to the previous broadcast, which guested Mizuho Habu from Sakurazaka46, this broadcast will feature Twitch streamer yunocy. The broadcast will be streamed via YouTube as well as Twitter Live. Twitter Live will be accessible once the PSO2 official Twitter account posts the livestream tweet.

According to the official blog, the upcoming broadcast will focus on introducing the main characters and story of PSO2: New Genesis. It will also explain the new character creation features planned and show gameplay footage. Finally, the blog post noted that the “latest information” on the release schedule for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be a part of the upcoming broadcast.

The previous broadcast, titled “PSO2 New Genesis Prologue 2,” focused on the data gathered from the first closed beta test that ran exclusively for Japanese users back in January 2021. It revealed details about new enemies, weapons, classes and changes to how outfits would be handled in the new release. It was also later revealed that a global closed beta would also be coming soon. However, Sega hasn’t announced the official dates for said global closed.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PCs in 2021.
