5pb’s upcoming 2D fighter, Phantom Breaker, was originally slated for an April 28th release. It will no longer be making that date, according to a recent announcement from 5pb, who have delayed the game citing various unspecified reasons.

A new release date for Phantom Breaker hasn’t been decided upon yet, but we’ll keep an eye out for further news. In the mean time, you can try out a demo of Phantom Breaker using a Japanese Xbox Live Silver account.

Phantom Breaker has two types of characters: quick or hard. Quick characters are good at evading and performing long combos, while hard characters are more focused on defense and landing hard hits.
