As reported in the past, IO Interactive are working on a brand new Hitman game for PC and next-gen consoles. This morning, the studio posted a piece of concept art for the new game on their website, which you can view above.

Additionally, IO have confirmed that the new Hitman title will not be at E3 this year, and that the game is going be “under wraps for a bit longer”.

“The good news is we’re making great progress with building exotic and expansive locations for the new game,” IO Interactive say, pointing to the concept art as an example.

“This location is set in Central Europe and you’ll be able to explore the entire building you see in the image, inside and out. For a sense of scale, the building on its own is larger than any location in Hitman Absolution.”

In the past, IO have also said that one can expect the next Hitman game to be non-linear in nature. You can read what else they’ve said about it in this report.
