Instead of releasing the game under the title New Play Control! Pikmin 2, Nintendo are releasing it under their budget "Nintendo Selects" line of games. In addition to Pikmin 2, Mario Power Tennis is being added to the Nintendo Selects line as well. Both games will be released on June 10th for $20.

Additionally, while they aren’t Nintendo Selects titles yet, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country Returns are getting price drops to $30. Nintendo also provided an updated sales figure for Donkey Kong, saying the game has sold over 2.5 million in the U.S so far.
