This morning, Nintendo showed off Pikmin 3 for the Wii U at their E3 media briefing. One of the game’s new features is rock Pikmin, who can destroy things. Pikmin can also gather items to build bridges now. Take a look at a trailer for the game below:

You’ll be able to play Pikmin 3 using either the Wii Remote and Nunchuck with the Wii U GamePad as a secondary map device, or with the Wii U GamePad entirely.
