Sony will launch its PlayStation Now game-streaming service on January 13th in North America, the company said this morning. The service will allow users to stream over a hundred PlayStation 3 games on their PlayStation 4 consoles.
PlayStation Now will come with two subscription plans: one month for $19.99, or a three-month package for $44.99 (about $15 per month). A free 7-day trial to the service will also be available when it launches.
At launch, PlayStation Now will debut on PlayStation 4, but in the future, Sony plan to make the service available on other PlayStation Now-enabled devices as well. At present, the service is in open beta for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Sony Bravia TVs, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation TV devices.
