Pokémon Black/White have sold 11.5 million units so far, Nintendo report, factoring in both Japanese and overseas sales, as of March.
That’s 5.26 million units over a period of six months in Japan (the Japanese version released in October) and 6.25 million units in a single month overseas.
Sales enthusiasts will recall that 2.5 million of those copies were sold in the U.S. Nintendo point out that Black/White are selling faster than previous Pokémon games on the DS. Here’s a quick comparison chart showing U.S. sales trends for Black/White, HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Diamond/Pearl:

- Super Mario 64 DS, released in November 2004, sold 1.02 million units between April ‘10 and March ‘11.
