The Pokemon Company and American apparel brand Converse will release a new collaborative collection ahead of the 2021 holiday season. Items in the collection include a selection of hats, shoes, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, and jackets for all ages. The Pokemon Converse collection will go on sale on December 10, 2021, on the official Converse website and in select stores.
While the Converse website hasn’t revealed details of the collection just yet, some images have been posted to Twitter. Check them out below:
The collection focuses on Pokemon from the Kanto region, namely Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Meowth, and Jigglypuff. The Pokemon 25th Celebration Hoodie lists every region from the Pokemon universe in the style of tour dates. More items are expected to be revealed when the collection appears on the Converse website.
2021 has been filled with events and special releases to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise. Earlier this year, Levi’s released a Pokemon-themed collection. A Pokemon and LeSportsac collection of bags and pouches were sold in Japan this month, and a Vulpix-themed airplane is scheduled to take to the skies over Japan starting next month.
The Pokemon Converse collection is scheduled to go on sale starting December 10, 2021. Items can be purchased on the Converse website and from select retailers.
