This isn’t the first reference to the new games to show up in Pokemon GO. At the beginning of November, Gimmighoul started showing up in-game. This is a new Paldean Pokemon. Its “Chest Form” shows up in the Switch games. However, in Pokemon GO the “Roaming Form” can appear if you spin a Poke Stop that is orange.

Pokemon GO is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch.
