Although it hasn’t been long since Squirtle’s Community Day, Niantic has already announced Chikorita as the featured Pokémon for the next Community Day, taking place from 3am – 6am UTC on September 22, 2018. [Thanks, Pokémon GO Hub!]

Chikorita is the first Generation 2 starter to be featured for a Community Day, and will bring along a 3x Catch XP and 3-hour lures during the period. The rare move it may have has not been revealed, but is likely to be Frenzy Plant, keeping in line with the other Starter Pokémon. Sunny weather is also favored.

Finally, it has been confirmed that the next two Community Days after this one will take place on October 21, 2018, and November 10, 2018 respectively.

Pokémon GO is available for iOS and Android.
