One of the images published shows how the artist designed Mosslax’s facial expressions. There are six kinds of expressions listed: Default, Sleeping, Generic Joy, Massive Joy with Blush, Anger, and Sadness.

However, some of the expressions also included additional details. For instance, the flower on Mosslax’s head would close when it is actually sleeping and shake if it is blushing. The artist also specifically raised one side of Mosslax’s mouth when it’s in a happy mood.

Here is the original Japanese official tweet that contains the newly published concept art:

Mosslax is the third special Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia to have its concept art published on the Poke Times account. The game’s Japanese official website formally lists it as “Snorlax (covered in moss)” while its Japanese in-game name is Koke-Kabigon or Mossy Snorlax. Before Mosslax and Peakychu, Professor Tangrowth earned the first honor of having its concept art published the earliest.

Pokemon Pokopia is readily available worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2.
