Nintendo and Twitch announced that, once Pokemon Pokopia debuts, people will be able to get a Ditto chat badge cosmetic. This will debut on March 5, 2026, the same day the game launches worldwide. There’s also already a teaser image to show us what we can expect from the icon.
Unlike some cosmetics, this won’t be a free item you can get. You can’t just watch someone playing Pokemon Pokopia on Twitch for a certain amount of time in order to get the Ditto chat badge. Instead, you need to actually pay to either subscribe to a person who is streaming that Switch 2 game or gift a sub to them. (That should be about $5.99, though it varies based on where you live and local currencies.) After you do that, you will earn the badge. However, the promotion is also only in effect until March 19, 2026.

This follows a similar sort of promotion tied to Resident Evil Requiem. That involved two cosmetics that looked like the Umbrella logo and Mr. Raccoon.
Pokemon Pokopia will come to the Switch 2 on March 5, 2026, and the Ditto chat badge will be available on Twitch between March 5-19, 2026.
