Pokémon the Series: XY To Begin Airing This January In North America

Pokémon the Series: XY, the next season of the Pokémon anime, will begin airing on Cartoon Network in North America this January, The Pokémon Company announced this morning.

 

Prior to the new season, two movies focusing on Mewtwo will be aired on Cartoon Network, one of them being a remastered version of Pokémon: The First Movie. You can find timings for both movies and the new anime season below:

 

Pokémon: The First Movie – Jan. 4th (8:30 am PT/ET)

 

Pokémon: Mewtwo—Prologue to Awakening – Jan. 11th (8:30 am PT/ET)

Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened – Jan 11th. (9 am PT/ET)

 

Pokémon the Series: XY – Starts Jan. 18th (8:30 am PT/ET)

 

Prologue to Awakening and the Genesect movie are both connected, which is why the two features will air one after the other on January 11th.
