Nintendo has announced a promotional campaign that will take Pokemon Sword and Shield on a tour around the United States. It will be opening pop-up Galar Visitors Centers briefly at select locations around the country. So far, three dates and locations have been announced.

The first three Galar Vistors Centers will be open at special events in Seattle, Washington, Pomona, California, and Dallas, Texas. At PAX West 2019, at the Washington State Convention Center, people will be able to pop in between August 30 and September 2, 2019 to check out and learn about the game. The second stop is the Los Angeles County Fair, where it will be open on September 11 and 14, 2019. The third location is the State Fair of Texas from October 10-14, 2019.

In addition to demo stations running Pokemon Sword and Shield, a Galar Visitors Center will offer other activities. The ones mentioned in the official press release were “passport photo” ops, free items related to the game, and chances to learn more about the area and its characters.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.
