As the name suggests, Chilling Reign is inspired by the Pokemon Sword & Shield Crown Tundra expansion pass area. Its featured cards all pull from some of the legendaries found there. For example, there will be Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres cards, with all three birds found on the booster packs for this set. There will also be Calyrex cards, with Calyrex Ice Rider and Shadow Rider cards. 3 Special Energy, 8 V-Max, 15 Pokemon V, 26 full art Pokemon V, 13 full art Supporter, and 28 Trainer cards will be added to the game.

This will also build on past expansions. To be specific, It will have 70 Battle Styles cards that build upon the last set’s new mechanics.

Here’s a better look at the upcoming Elite Trainer Boxes and packs.

The Pokemon Trading Card Game Chilling Reign expansion set will arrive on June 18, 2021. People can get early access via the June 5, 2021 Build & Battle Box.
