Pokemon TV Short Animation

The Pokemon Company released a new Pokemon Kids TV short animation. This animation focuses on what it means to be a Pokemon Trainer and what it takes to start your journey. Like previously released Pokemon Kids TV short animations, this little video showcases a more freeform art style and a bite-sized story. [Thanks, Gamer!]

This short focuses on the young trainer, Tsubomi. Infatuated with the idea of becoming a Pokemon League Champion, she rushes into the forest after finishing her chores to catch herself a Pokemon. After catching a Nidoran she encounters her first obstacle. After overcoming this, Tsubomi sets off to become a Pokemon Trainer. You can watch the Pokemon Kids TV short animation below.

Additionally, there are plans to release several other short animations. This includes a short focused on the Pokemon Gengar. These animations will be uploaded to the official YouTube channel at a later date. Previously, a video short focused on Pancham released.

In May 2021, it was announced that Pokemon Master Journeys would appear sometime in Summer 2021. This new Pokemon animated series is set after the events of  Pokemon Journeys. While the series has been announced and is currently in production, there is currently no word on what service the series will release on.
