Pokémon GO Estimated To Have Topped $200 Million Worldwide In Its First Month

Sensor Tower reported their latest estimates for Pokémon GO’s revenues, which is said to have surpassed more than $200 million in worldwide net revenue during its first month of availability.

The above line graph shows us a first month cumulative revenue comparison between Pokémon GO and two other top-grossing mobile games in publisher Supercell’s Clash Royale which released in early-March along with Candy Crush Soda Saga by King, which released in late-2014.

 

As you can see, Pokémon GO’s revenue appears to have taken a big jump when the game launched in Japan at around the middle point, which helped the Niantic-developed app earn more than seven times as much net revenue in its first month as Candy Crush Soda Saga.

 

Pokémon GO is currently available on Android and iOS. According to Sensor Tower, the game is still being played about 26 minutes on daily average.
