The US release date for the Pokémon Sun & Moon animated series has finally been announced. As revealed on The Pokémon Company’s official Twitter account, the series will begin airing in the US on May 12th on Disney XD.

The first two episodes are set to air on Friday, May 12 at 9 pm ET, which will then be followed by the third on Saturday, May 13 at 9 am. From then, the show will follow a weekly release on Saturdays at 9 am.

The new series will follow Ash and Pikachu as they explore the vibrant Alola region on Ash’s quest to become a Pokemon master. However, it won’t be all fun and games as they clash with the local scheming group known as Team Skull.
