Pokémon Sun & Moon has been making waves with each update, but Nintendo revealed that it’s been going beyond that, as it has already broken records with the most pre-orders and most downloaded demo on 3DS.
According to the press release, Pokémon Sun & Moon has broken the record for the most pre-sold game in Nintendo history. The company also revealed that its demo is now the most downloaded Nintendo 3DS demo in Nintendo history as well.
Simply stating that Pokémon Sun & Moon’s Special Demo Version is “also popular” might be a bit of an understatement seeing how it has made a new record. In Nintendo’s semi-annual financial results briefing for fiscal year ending March 2017, it was revealed that the demo has already passed 3.5 million downloads, making it the fastest start for any demo in the history of the Nintendo 3DS system as well.
Pokémon Sun & Moon releases for Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America on November 18, and in Europe on November 23, 2016.
