Pokémon Sun & Moon sales have been making headlines since its release last week, and the latest comes from GameStop with the retailer announcing its latest record of highest pre-orders in five years. [Thanks, GameSpot.]

Since its release on November 18, Pokémon Sun & Moon has not only been the best-performing games for GameStop all year, but its pre-orders have been the highest of any game for the retailer in five years.

The report also mentions that the PlayStation 4 Pro is off to a “strong” start, while the PlayStation VR units have also been selling well on their own end as they stay on the shelves for an average of 10 days.

Pokémon Sun & Moon is available for Nintendo 3DS.
