Pokémon Sun and Moon is the first game in the series to introduce Ultra Beasts, a new sort of creature players will be facing in the Nintendo 3DS game. While UB-01, UB-02 Absorption, and UB-02 Beauty have been previously introduced, a series of revelations that have come from datamining the game’s demo has resulted in Polygon coming forward to report that the UBs can be captured. Polygon asked Nintendo if it was possible at a recent event, and Nintendo confirmed it was. Nintendo didn’t say how people will catch them or if special items will be required.

Currently, UB-01, UB-02 Absorption, and UB-02 Beauty are the only three Ultra Beasts that have been officially confirmed and revealed. UB-01 is present in both games, but the other two are version specific. UB-02 Absorption is present in Pokémon Sun, while UB-02 Beauty is in Pokémon Moon. The demo datamining has revealed there are eight UBs total, with each one having standard and shiny forms like standard Pokémon do. For people okay with seeing spoilers and additional datamined information from the Pokémon Sun and Moon demo, the sprites for the unrevealed UBs can be seen on Reddit. (Note: the Reddit post does use spoiler tags, so you can pick and choose which spoilers you do or don’t see.)

Pokémon Sun and Moon will come to the Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016 in Japan and North America. The games will come to Europe on November 23, 2016.
