Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages Coming To Cartoon Network This Year

Like every Pokémon movie before it, the new one, titled Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, will be aired in the U.S. The Pokémon Company announced the movie with its English title today, alongside a new trailer that you can watch above.

A story summary describes the movie as follows:

Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages takes Ash and his friends to a desert city by the sea. Here they meet the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, who has the ability to summon things—including people and Pokémon—through its magic ring. After a scary incident, they learn a story about a brave hero who stopped the rampage of a terrifying Pokémon long ago. Now, the threat that has been bottled up for years is in danger of breaking loose again! Can Ash help his new friend overcome the darkness within…or will a dangerous secret erupt into a clash of legends?

An air date for Hoopa and the Clash of Rings has not yet been announced, but The Pokémon Company says it will air on Cartoon Network within the year.
