Deep Silver has commented on a bit of website source code that may have suggested a Shenmue III Xbox One port. People on Resetera had pointed to the official Deep Silver website, noting that there were elements referring to the Xbox One. This was then shared by Wario64. Deep Silver’s Twitter account then made a statement that denied a possible port. (Thanks, Resetera!)

A fan had taken the Wario64 tweet and shared it with Yu Suzuki and Deep Silver, asking if the possible Shenmue III Xbox One version could be real. Deep Silver’s official response was, “There is no planned version of Shenmue III for Xbox One.”

At the moment, only two platforms have been confirmed for Shenmue III. They are the PlayStation 4 and PC. However, more news about the latest entry in the series could be arriving soon, as it will be appearing at E3 2019. (The general public will not be able to play it there.)

Shenmue III will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC on November 19, 2019.
