As for the Process of Elimination trailer, it sets the stage for what will happen in the game. It begins by introducing Wato Hojo. He’s one of fourteen detectives in the game. However, as the video quickly shows, he’s “incompetent,” hasn’t solved any cases and doesn’t possess any “notable abilities.” He’s thrown into a situation in which one of the 14 detectives is a murderer. This means characters like Downtown Detective, Ideal Detective, Renegade Detective, Techie Detective, and Workaholic Detective could be his ally or enemy. After showing each of those other five characters, brief bits of English gameplay highlighting them comes up in the video.

The Process of Elimination North American release date is April 11, 2023. It will show up in Europe a few days later on April 14, 2023. People will be able to play it on the Switch and PS4.
