Project Sakura Wars Gets Collabs With Super Robot Wars X-Omega, Border Break, And Puyo Puyo Quest

Today on livestream, apart from a new character designed by Persona series character designer Shigenori Soejima, Sega announced that Project Sakura Wars is also getting three collaborations – two with other Sega games, and one with Bandai Namco.

Project Sakura Wars x Puyo Puyo Quest

The members of the new Floral Division find themselves whisked away to the world of Puyo Puyo Quest, where all of them will appear in some way. Main character Seijuurou Kamiyama will be obtainable as an event quest reward. More info will release on Twitter regarding this collab on November 26, 2019.

 

Project Sakura Wars x Super Robot Wars X-Omega

Sega is working together with Bandai Namco on adding Project Sakura Wars units to smartphone title Super Robot Wars X-Omega. All six Mugen and Sanshiki Koubu units piloted by the Floral Division will appear. More info will be released on Bandai Namco’s end, although a tentative mid-December date has been given for the event.

 

Project Sakura Wars x Border Break

Sakura and her Koubu will appear in Border Break on PS4 in December this year. The other members of the Floral Division won’t have their own units, but will appear as playable characters, with newly voiced lines for the collaboration.

 

Project Sakura Wars will appear on the PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 12, 2019. It will be released in North America and Europe in Spring 2020.
