Double Fine are busy hammering away at The Cave and their Double Fine Adventure game, but if you’re in the mood for playing one of their older (and most well-known) games, you’ll soon have an excuse to try it out. Psychonaughts is headed to the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3.

Released in 2005, Psychonauts will be available as a PlayStation 2 Classic in North America next Tuesday. The game has you playing as a young boy named Raz, who runs away from the circus to become a “Psychonaut” alongside others who share his psychic abilities.

While Psychonauts was a critical darling, it wasn’t exactly a huge commercial success upon release. Over time, however, the game has managed to move about 400,000 copies, with several of those purchases having been made digitally on Steam, according to Double Fine co-founder, Tim Schafer.
