Requiem: Memento Mori is a dark fantasy MMORPG that was published by Gravity Interactive, the developers of Ragnarok Online, in 2008. Now, Gravity have announced that they will be taking over the game in its entirety, including both publishing and development duties, going forward.

Requiem producer Denny Kwon announced via the game’s website: “Our team has been training with the Requiem Team day in and day out over the past few months. You may have already experienced some content we’ve helped designed with the team as we were transitioning. Things like the new PvP map, the new Halloween world monsters, and the Honor System.”

Requiem: Memento Mori takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the use of dark magic and genetic manipulation has resulted in war and famine, and monsters overrunning the world. You play as a genetically modified “Temperion” soldier, one of many trying to help save the world from this predicament.

Kwon goes on to add that Gravity intend to expand the lore of Requiem’s world, create memorable events, and so on. You can try the game out here.
