To celebrate Ratchet & Clank’s 10-year anniversary, Sony are releasing the Ratchet & Clank Collection, which compiles Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, all touched up with HD visuals, trophies, and stereoscopic 3D support.

Today however, Sony announced that, as part of the same celebration, Ratchet & Clank developer, Insomniac, are also working on an entirely new game in the series.

Titled Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, the new game will be released this holiday season as a PlayStation Network title. Sony say that it features the “classic third-person Ratchet & Clank camera” with familiar weapons and online multiplayer. No further details have been announced thus far.
