Defeat Rathian and Rathalos in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak for a Monocle

Face Rathian and Rathalos in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak for a Monocle

There’s a new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak “Forbidden Waltz” event quest available now, and this one involves a Rathian, a Rathalos, and a monocle. If you take on the challenge, you’ll face both of them at once. Should you manage to topple both, you’ll be able to make a Monocle of Clarity.

The Rathalos and Rathian you’ll face in this Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak event quest are both flying wyverns. They’re also the male and female members of the same species. With the Rathalos, breaking its wings is a good idea. This helps keep it from flying. As for Rathian, try to take off the tail as soon as you can. In the case of both dragons, targeting their feet is a good way to knock them down so you can attack repeatedly without worrying about additional attacks for a while. Both of them are weak against the dragon and thunder elements.

As for the accessory itself, here’s the Monocle of Clarity on a character in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. This is a piece of layered armor. That means it is a purely cosmetic item. So you can equip it to change your appearance, but keep your typical, powerful equipment.
