Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury has 50 original story levels and over 50 unlockable levels made by Treasure. Oh, and plus whatever maps fans create with the built in mapmaker.
While previous Bangai-O titles included a map edit feature, Bangai-O HD’s stage creator can make the same levels Treasure created for the Xbox 360 title. In fact, you can even use one of Treasure’s levels as a base and edit it, if you like. Players can select weapons for the stage, place enemies, and traps. An object counter limits the number of missile launchers, power-ups, and tiles level designers can place.
After you create a level you can share it with anyone on your Xbox Live friends list. Level sharing, a representative from D3 Publisher explained, can only be done through friends. So, what if a Treasure employee makes an awesome level on his or her time? It’s still possible to acquire through a friend of a friend. You can repost levels downloaded from a friend and share those with people on your friends list.
Bangai-O HD: Missile Fury comes out this spring.
