The Evil Within, the new survival horror game by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, will be released on August 26th in North America and August 29th in Europe, publisher ZeniMax announced today.
The Evil Within is being developed by Mikami’s studio, Tango Gameworks, which is owned by ZeniMax, who also own Bethesda Softworks, the developers of the Elder Scrolls series.
The Evil Within will be available on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Mikami said last year that his goal was to bring the horror back to the survival horror genre.
