Resident Evil: Revelations On Wii U To Support Off-TV Play Using GamePad

Recommended Videos

It appears as though the Wii U version of Resident Evil: Revelations will support “off-TV play” using the Wii U GamePad. The Wii U version’s producer, Tsukasa Takenaka, recently confirmed the feature in an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine in the U.K.

"There’s a joke going around in Japan at the moment about using Off TV Play to play your Wii U games on the Bullet Train, as long as you get one of the seats with a power outlet, so we wanted to make sure Bullet Train play was possible with Revelations," Takenaka jokes.

Additionally, the game’s “Ooze” enemies look more detailed in the HD console versions of the game, and will appear in different variations.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be released for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on May 21st in North America and May 24th in Europe.
