Retro City Rampage, the retro-styled open-world game by Vblank Entertainment, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo revealed this morning.

In a press release outlining their plans for PAX Prime, Nintendo listed a number of games headed to their platforms that will be playable at the event. For the Nintendo eShop for 3DS, they list Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse and Retro City Rampage.

Retro City Rampage is inspired in part by Rockstar’s older Grand Theft Auto games, and features a large 8-bit world that one can explore from a top-down perspective. The game is already available on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Vita.
