A beta for Rise if Incarnates, Bandai Namco’s upcoming free-to-play arena fighter, will begin on August 8th, the publisher announced at a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con this afternoon.

Namco made the beta announcement alongside a new trailer for the game.

Rise of Icarnates is developed by members of the Soulcalibur and Tekken development teams and is in development for PC. Namco said they’re working with arcade stick maker MadCatz to create a controller for the game.
