Manhunt, the game where you play as a death row inmate fighting for survival after his supposed execution, is headed to PlayStation Network next week. The game will be available on May 14th (15th for Europe) for $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99

In Manhunt, you play as James Earl Cash, an inmate that wakes up after his “execution” by lethal injection and finds himself being forced to participate in a series of snuff films.

Manhunt caused a fair bit of controversy upon release due its graphic depictions of killing. Its sequel, Manthunt 2, went a step further, and was given the AO (adults-only) rating. As a result, Rockstar edited certain portions of the game, following which the ESRB re-rated the game M (Mature) on consoles.
