Romance of the Three Kingdoms with Power-Up Kit Shows What’s New In First Screenshots

Koei Tecmo recently announced Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit, an upgraded version of the strategy game. Famitsu shares a first look with some new screenshots.

As previously reported, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit introduces three main features. “Fame” is unlocked through accomplishments, and provide titles and the way of life for the officers.

“War Council” is a new feature that allows for war councils to take place before going into battle. This is where the general can choose a staff officer and officer strategies. And finally, the “Battlefield Expansion” increases the size of all battlefields by up to four times, adding more routes for more surprise attacks and other strategic elements to the battle.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit releases in Japan in Winter 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
