Rumour: Xenoblade Chronicles Will Release In U.S. Via Gamestop [Update]

Since this morning, the Internet has been abuzz with rumours that Xenoblade Chronicles will be released in the U.S. via Gamestop exclusively. Nintendo World Report picked the rumour up from a thread started at the NeoGAF gaming forums, where a member posted a photograph of the title in a Gamestop release list:

You can spot it at the bottom of the list, under the title Xenoblade Chronicles GS Exclusive for $50. The “release date” column has it scheduled for an April 4th release in America. Do keep in mind that this is just a rumour for now.

Update: Nintendo of America have posted concept art of the game to their Facebook page. Thanks to Neal Power in the comments for the heads up!

Update 2: Something that bears mentioning is that we aren’t certain what the “exclusive” is really referring to. It could, for example, simply be referring to a Gamestop-exclusive collector’s edition of the game.
