Hololive Vtuber Sakura Miko announced on her official Twitter account that she will be taking a hiatus to mourn the death of a family member. She spoke kindly of her recently deceased grandfather. She did not note how long this break will last.
Sakura Miko will be return to her family home to take a brief hiatus from her usual streaming and promotional activities. She wrote that she will take this time to spend with her family, grieve, and process her emotions before returning to her regular schedule.
She also included that it would make her happy for her supporters to not worry for her sake and to patiently wait for her return, just as they had done during her previous hiatus. She had just recently returned from a streaming hiatus after contracting COVID-19 in May 2023.
