Sanrio Arknights Event Starts Today

Back in October 2024, Hypergryph teased that it would release the Arknights Sanrio characters event worldwide in December 2024, and now that’s poised to debut after the December 20, 2024 maintenance. Pre-loading for the new outfits and Sweetness Overload event already came up in the official notice, as did the confirmation that we’ll all also get 200 Orundum after the update arrives.

To kick everything off, Hypergryph shared a trailer highlighting all of the Arknights and Sanrio characters together. It features everyone appearing the chibi style Sanrio uses for its designs. This style is also maintained for the icons in Commemorative Packs sold during the event. U-Official is front and center, and so are Goldenglow and Lee. All three of them get official costumes as part of the crossover. Characters who appear in icons, like Amiya, Executor, Logos, Mlynar, and W, appear as well.

As mentioned before, this event first debuted in the Chinese version of the game in June 2024. So we are aware of what to expect. Cinnamoroll and My Melody furniture will be given out as login gifts. There will be icon packs with the Arknights and Sanrio characters in the trailer paired up together. People can also get the Goldenglow Party in the Garden, Lee Remedy in a Cup of Leung Cha, and U-Official Stream Above the Clouds costumes in the Outfit Store that puts all three in new skins with Sanrio characters like Badtz Maru, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Pompompurin with them.

As a reminder, past Arknights crossovers included Rainbow Six Siege and Monster Hunter.

Arknights is available on Android and Apple iOS devices worldwide, and the Sanrio characters event will run December 20, 2024 through January 3, 2025.
