Last night, Siliconera was at a Pokémon developer discussion in Los Angeles, where Nintendo and The Pokémon Company revealed a stream of new information on Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

During the discussion Pokémon developer Game Freak also demonstrated how 3D models are being created for the new games, and how they’re intended to be closer to their concept art, created by Ken Sugimori. You can watch this and more in a summary video of the developer discussion above.

Here’s everything else we learnt about Pokémon X/Y during the discussion:

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Will Have Seven Languages Available In The Game

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Make It Easier To Find Other Players To Play With

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Introduce Brand New Sky Battles

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Have All New Horde Encounters

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be released worldwide on October 12th.
