Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 Will Launch on February 20, 2020

The Sega Ages lineup is growing worldwide this month. Sega has confirmed that both Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sega Ages Puyo Puyo 2 will be released on February 20, 2020. Like all entries in this lineup, they will be $7.99/£5.99 each.

Each of the Sega Ages games so far have had different special features. Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has a whole host of them. Some are available in all modes, like the Sonic Mania drop dash to speed up. The two new modes are Super Sonic Mode and Time Trial Mode, with the former always making you Super Sonic and the latter letting you try and speedrun through the game for a place on the leaderboards. It is also possible to play as Knuckles in this version.

With Sega Ages Puyo Puyo 2, part of the excitement involves it being officially released in English. However, it also has some quality of life adjustments. Colorblind mode is available to make it more accessible. If you’re playing alone, you can rewind if you make a fatal mistake. It also lets you go online, either to submit scores to a leaderboard or to play against another person with a copy of the game.

Sega Ages Puyo Puyo 2 and Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will come to the Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2020.
