Shadow of the Eternals Developer Gets On Kickstarter, Provides Update

Precursor Games recently managed to get their fundraising campaign for Shadow of the Eternals onto Kickstarter and have acquired nearly $50,000 in contributions after the first day. This is in addition to the $150,000 they’ve raised via their own website.

Shadow of the Eternals, as previously reported, is a spiritual successor the Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem on the Gamecube. The game is being developed by a team of former Silicon Knights veterans, who were also involved with Eternal Darkness.

Today, the company’s COO, Shawn Jackson provided a video update on what’s been going on at the studio, how the Shadow of the Eternals demo was developed, and his extensive involvement in the creation of the game. You can watch Jackson’s video above.
