Atlus are expanding Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor to other forms of media outside of games. The latest issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine debuted a Devil Survivor manga based on the first game this past weekend.

The story and art work for the Devil Survivor manga series are being worked on by Satoru Matsuba, although Suzuhito Yasuda is still credited for the original character designs.

Like the game version, the Devil Survivor manga takes place in Tokyo, during a demon invasion, and follows the young group that sets out to fight it.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor was originally published by Atlus for the Nintendo DS. Last year, Atlus released an updated version of the game for the Nintendo 3DS, titled Devil Survivor: Overclocked. A sequel, Devil Survivor 2, exists on the Nintendo DS as well.
