Shovel Knight is getting a retail release on Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, Yacht Club Games have announced. Additionally, in Europe, the game will also receive a retail release on PC.
The retail version of Shovel Knight will be available on October 13th in North America and October 16th in Europe. It will cost $19.99, and pre-orders are up on the usual retailer sites.
The physical version of Shovel Knight will contain everything that has been announced thus far. The original campaign, the Plague of Shadows content update, and 50 challenge levels. Like digital purchases, it will be eligible for free future updates.
