As previously reported, Namco Bandai will be conducting a closed beta for Dark Souls II this fall on the PlayStation 3. This morning, the publisher announced further details regarding the beta program and how one can sign up for it.
The Dark Souls II beta will kick off on October 12th. A second round will then begin on October 27th. Players in North America, Europe and Australia will be able to access both rounds of the beta test. You can sign up for a registration ticket here.
Update: Our readers point out that the registration link appears only to be for Europe. We’ll update with a U.S. link once available.
Namco have promised “unrelenting difficulty” during the game’s beta test. The full version Dark Souls II will be available in March 2014 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
