This past weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con, Sega announced a version of Sonic Adventure 2 for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, scheduled for release this fall. No PC version has been announced thus far.

While no further details regarding Sonic Adventure 2 for XBLA and PSN were announced at Comic-Con, an accidental leak via the Xbox Live Marketplace website last month indicated that this game will be an HD update with offline multiplayer and online leaderboards.

The original Sonic Adventure was released for Xbox Live Arcade in 2010.
